MongoDB Security Notice (16/12/2023)
Documotor customer data is not affected.

Based on MongoDB Security Incident Update, December 20, 2023 (updated Dec. 25th), MongoDB has found no evidence of unauthorized access to MongoDB Atlas clusters or the Atlas cluster authentication system.
Therefore, Documotor customer data is unaffected by the incident.
Only our internal administrative team has had CRM metadata leaked.

MongoDB has found no evidence of unauthorized access to MongoDB Atlas clusters or any vulnerabilities in their products. However, unauthorized access to some MongoDB corporate systems has been detected, involving limited customer information.
Based on their announcement we assume that our administrative team names, phone numbers, and email addresses among other account metadata may have been compromised and are staying vigilant for social engineering and phishing attacks. Our team is already using MFA as apart of our focus on security.
Following this, we have no reason to believe that any of our clients are affected by this.

Following this, we have reacted by rotating all administrative passwords and preemptively rotated database service account credentials at 10:30 PM CET.
So far, we believe that the information provided by the MongoDB team does not imply any of our customers is at risk. Regardless, our internal investigation has revealed no suspicious activity, and the team is following the situation closely as new information come to light.
As our customers are our utmost priority, we do recommend our customers to rotate their passwords and secrets, erring on the side of caution.

At around 10:00 PM CET, we received a security incident announcement from the MongoDB CISO, alerting their customers about an investigation of unauthorized access to certain MongoDB corporate systems, yet no detected or suspected exposure to the data that customers store in MongoDB Atlas.
